Special event - Argyle Trio (piano trio)

As Wellington will be at Covid Level 2 for this concert, the new rules restrict audiences to 50 with 1 metre spacing.

With support from the trio, we have been able to change the event to have 2 one-hour concerts, limited to 50 people each. These will be at 2pm and 4pm.

The Argyle Trio is the most recent group formed by violinist Wilma Smith and introduces us to NZ cellist Mathias Balzat, who is currently studying in Düsseldorf and award-winning Australian pianist Laurence Matheson.

Due to Covid restrictions, the pianist is unable to travel from Australia. We are fortunate that Michael Houstoun has been able to step in as a replacement. The programme has also needed to be changed to Beethoven and Ravel trios.

These concerts have now been fully booked.
